Sympathy flowers

I don’t usually do funeral flowers but if I’m asked by someone to honour their loved one in this way of course, I would.

These are the flowers I crated for my Grandmothers funeral. She was a keen gardener with a special love of roses. My flowers for her reflect this. However, the flowers were from more than just my part of the family. My Auntie Anna remembers her with freesia and my Auntie Helen with the lemon rose. The rest was up to me. Autumnal foliage and berries for the time of year. Blackberries or ‘‘Brambles’’ as she was called Bram. Honeysuckle she had in her garden and of course as many roses as I could pack in to represent her rose border. My Mum of course was just thrilled it was me who did the flowers. That was her contribution.

So, you can see the thought & attention that goes into creating flowers for someone whether they are getting married or have passed way. Its all so unique to them.

I hope you like them.
